Stroalsent Spinnerspace is a ship design and manufacture institution. It differentiates itself from its corporate counterparts by first being a collectively owned and run organization with little management or oversight. Members are admitted based on their creativity and pedigree and profits are shared equally. While their facilities and shipyards are wholly in The Family's space, their ships are widely sought by for wealthy private fleets and personal use throughout Charted Space. In addition to exploring experimental design, it also serves as an academy for promising students, thus perpetuating innovation. For this institution, aesthetic is its chief concern, producing craft with elegant curves, organic filigree, and luxurious interiors.
