The Haxon System is is one of the most important systems to the maintenance of the ExodiaNet. The first planet, Rahua, is orbited first by Castle Critic, which hosts the popular Schematic for Cosmic Force ride-along show where the audience can follow law-enforcement personnel as they perform police patrols. In higher orbit is the moon which serves as the offices and courts of the Department of Alleged Justice, which host the popular and televised legal proceedings of various criminal and domestic cases. The second planet, the gas giant Lobac, is orbited by the Lobac Commerce Regulation that tracks economic informational across charted space. Lobac's moon houses the local archives and backup data for the entire ExodiaNet.
The Exodianet Data Archives are considered the second-most secure exodian facility. The exodianet server hub, an orbital station through which all exodianet content and traffic is eventually stored, hosts the most aggressive cybersecurity countermeasures, as well as an impressive fleet of warships outfitted to jam and disable any suspicious craft in the system. Data couriers regularly replace entire databanks, 200 meters cubed, and deposit them in the moon's subterranean vaults where they will be stored for thousands of years, immune to decay, interference, and cosmic radiation.
A part of SCO popular culture is a hypothetical heist called the Lobac Job. It consists of a crew of thieves infiltrating a databank being transported from the Exodianet Data Archives to the subterranean vaults on Lobac's moon to steal information stored there. While a stories have been published that propose different methods of pulling the heist, they often miss a number of key security practices that make any such attempt impossible.
The Cognizant-class frigate escort is assumed to be incapable of escorting the Chelonia-class bulk freighter down to the surface. However, unlike the myth that they remain in low orbit, the escort spends most of its fuel reserve accompanying their target to within 10km of the data vaults.
Stealth technology is considered another possibility for allowing a ship close enough to access a databank. However, the Cognizant-class frigate operate in a high-power sensor mode that far exceeds the capabilities of any known stealth system.
The databanks are famously isolated from any network, preventing wireless reception or transmission. However, many stories of a Lobac Job consist of a tweaker sneaking into the databank structure and connecting with a wired device. However, each databank is also sealed in a resnal frame, which would require special equipment to remove the frame without damaging the data.
A rotating crew for the surface data vaults are transported down on the Chelonia-class frigate. However what is not widely known is that these are a special class of technicians who have signed a contract isolating them from outside world without any knowledge of their assignment. Instead they are selected at random and transported via cryogenic storage to their posts. So proposals of infiltrating this crew are implausible, since there is no way for a technician to know that they will wind up at the Lobac moon data vaults.
There are no security personnel aboard the databanks, however there are a fleet of 100 longbow security drones capable of responding to intrusions within seconds. The flat featureless shafts and corridors of the datavaults make it nearly impossible for intruders to conceal themselves, and greatly favor the autonomous piloting software of the drones.
The data vaults are equipped with surface-to-air turrets that excel both at cutting down smaller craft, and obliterating large ones. However a misconception is that this is attributed to the aggressive policies of the surface crew. However, these defenses are entirely automated, firing on anything besides the authorized fleet. There is a documented incident of a chelonia-class frigate whose transponder malfunction and was destroyed on approach, resulting in the loss of 1-years worth of archived data.
