Astrojinx's Beluga-class corvette was designed for small-scale research missions.
With full laboratory and data analysis bays in its ventral and dorsal "head"s, and extensive sensor suites, it is one of the most commissioned survey vessels. It also makes up the majority of the the SCO Anomalous Inquiry Force.
With a dorsal bay for small surface-craft, it also excels at planetary exploration, and a number of Beluga's have been converted to yacht variants.

The Beluga's top deck is a large open bay that is most often divided into science laboratories. Depending on the purpose of the craft, other uses have included restaurants, theaters, and gymnasiums.
The Beluga's bridge is a large open floor in the dorsal neck. Without any external viewports, it relies heavily on sensor data and internal communications, along with other assistance from the operations deck.
The main deck houses the majority of the ship's facilities. Abow is the astronavigation center, briefing room, and the main lift which runs the full height of of the ship. Midship contains the large workshop, medical bay, and the starboard and port airlocks. Abaft is the brig, life support, Zipp drive, and both engineering sections.
The lower deck of the Beluga mostly consists of crew accommodations. These include a mess hall, recreation room, and two large bays that can be subdivided into crew quarters to favor efficiency or privacy.
The operations deck serves as partner to the bridge. It processes sensor data, communications, and navigational data and routes information to areas of the ship such as the bridge, science bay, or engineering. The ship's computer core sits here as well, making it convenient for the Beluga's crew to reprogram or repair it.
The ship's hold is a wide cargo bay on the ventral structure. Its bay doors span nearly the entire width of the deck and can be partially opened to allow small vehicles, crew, or cargo to be transferred, or opened entirely to launch fighters, jettison cargo, or make transfers of larger objects. Because most of the floor doubles as the bay door, cargo is frequently fixed to ceiling mounts, and gravity plating inverted.
