The Rosh System is significant for its multiple trading outposts on the moons orbiting Rosh 3. While it is most applauded for is vast and complex facilities for loading and unloading raw materials, it is similarly dedicated to being a crossroads of culture from the Exodian Sector, Graad Ak Sektor, and the Fjotmor Sector.
Historically, it is also the site of the Battle of Rosh which ended the War for Private Space. The UPS were in the process of constructing a castle station to protect the system and prevent further incursion. However, the majority of their fleet was deployed in the Slaegtaf and Ahntornus system. Seeing a weakness, the SCO launched an assault on Rosh, finding a vulnerable station and a scattered defending fleet of smaller corvettes. Assuming that the corvettes would flee or else be demolished by the SCO's long-range weapons on approach, the fleet assumed a tight formation and prepared to bombard the UPS forces. However, the UPS corvettes were able to use a combination of complex gravity assists to approach the invading fleet with little engine signature, and at the last moment, accelerate with a technique now known as stoking, bringing them within point-blank range before the SCO could react. Not expecting to engage so soon and at close range, the SCO fleet were in for a second surprise, as the Union corvettes, instead of opening fire chose to ram instead. At that time, prevailing starship design among the SCO was to avoid collision altogether, so the far more durable Union ships were able to cause massive hull damage while sustaining little damage of their own. The SCO ships, already in a tight formation, collided with each other, compounding the damage. In the end, only two Union corvettes were lost, while the entire invading fleet was destroyed. Shortly after, the war was ended.
The surface of Rosh 3 lacks the atmoshere necessary to sustain life, and the caverns full of gelatinous colonies of metal-eroding microorganisms made even temporary settlement impractical
However, the ten moons of the planet, each with a relatively close orbit, made for an excellent collection of colonies that could easily trade with each other on short notice and with minimal fuel. As a result, the colonies specialized with different general types of resources and became a trade hub.

The Aurricstadt Bank is both the name of the moon and the monolithic facility constructed on and below its surface. While most exodians use the Aurricstadt Bank corporation to manage their finances through the exodianet, few account-holders have ever visited its location. The Bank is reserved for the most secretive financial transactions, oversees some of the most influential business deals, and stores the most valuable objects deep in its impenetrable vaults. Only approved vessals may land, usually being the most wealthy and powerful exodians, however even they are subject to the greatest scrutiny while visiting. Most personal effects are either left aboard the ship, or else temporarily exchanged for bank-approved substitutes. Every visitor is carefully scanned and weighed before and after their stay. All incoming and outgoing communication is held in a security buffer before being routed to the outside exodianet. Every visitor is assigned a specially cyberized concierge who accompanies them everywhere and whose memories are automatically erased between each client. Security breaches result in lockdowns that cause enormous vault doors to depressurize their sections and then weld-themselves shut, ensuring anyone trapped inside is likely to die long before they are captured. Without contest, Aurricstadt Bank is the most secure location in the Starcog Cluster.
