Watership

Waterships are aquatic surface vessels, designed to traverse across bodies of liquid of various density, consistency, or viscosity. Waterships are the largest surface vessels at approximately 80 meters long, and as such are capable of housing research labs, crew accommodations, advanced sensor equipment, and even some smaller vehicles. Waterships even support small landing craft such as drop pods or shuttles. An aft-mounted lift is capable of extending to make landing aircraft more convenient, or submerged to retrieve vehicles from the water. Waterships operate on dual zesnine pontoons that serve both as ballast and buoyancy, and are driven by aft-mounted multiplier engines. Most waterships use solar power, however in surface environments with little sunlight, they may run on engine fuel instead. While they are rarely armed, they can be fitted with spaceship-grade weaponry, allowing them to attack airborn and aquatic targets. Some waterships may even be equipped to launch torpedoes toward orbital targets.
