The Gemma System is a marvel of coincidence, with two habitable worlds orbiting an ideal distance away from an enormous blue star. Even before the Schematic for Cosmic Order made the decision to relocate their capitol, it was common knowledge that settlement of Gemma Prime and her sister planet, Gemma Minor would be the most successful and longlasting exodian project. Gemma Prime hosts the most meticulously planned urban settlements, collectively known as Gemma Prime City, which has grown quickly and covers nearly an eighth of the planet's surface with glittering colored resnal windows, geometric patterns of deep streets, and the buzz of air traffic. The only clue that such a metropolis was constructed in less that 100 years is the fact that much of still remains uninhabited until the population is able to catch up with the city's relentless expansion. The other complication is that Gemma Minor's orbit will result in a planetary encounter every 78 years that floods much of Gemma Prime's surface. Gemma Minor is a water world with a semi-elliptical orbit. On its surface floats the Schematic for Cosmic Order's Government Campus which includes both the Council of Chairs and House of Departments. In orbit around Gemma Minor is Castle Sagacity, which serves both as the capitol system's stationary defense and law enforcement and intelligence center.
Gemma Prime City, a city built to anticipate a population boom that is yet to happen. Its glittering skyscrapers are sparsely populated by wealthy administrators. However, many buildings closer to the surface are sealed by realtor companies, held in reserve for future generations. While some criminals have made their nests in these pristine apartments, crime itself is rare due to the endless fleet of police drones.
