The Hillah System was a great windfall to the first colonists to explore the Fjotmor Sector. The system had originally been surveyed by deep space scanners, but the SCO had deemed it void of valuable resources. However, upon exploration, it was discovered that each of its five planets were packed with dense deposits of useful materials. To this day, only three of the five planets have permament mining projects, since so far the availability of resources far exceeds the UPS's ability to extract them. Even if the planet mining projects are abandoned, the system also contains equally valuable asteroid belts.
