The Zrot System is a relic of the SCO's doctrine over 50 years ago. When the Ubbonex Sector was a rush of private and SCO prospectors, extractors, and industrialists, crime was rampant and the Zrot System was both a safe place to dispatch fleets to quash independent uprisings, or just a place to keep the skirmishes from spreading into the Kristaway Sector. The first planet, a world with toxic oceans the wrong shade of blue, and grass of a grating yellow-green, served as the garrison for SCO troops. In orbit, Castle Conclusion kept its coilguns trained on the Ubbonex Sector, in the off chance that the worker gangs might organize long enough to turn on their handlers. The algae-ridden water world of Durilia served as the administrative center for mining projects in the Ubbonex Sector, recruiting desperate laborers from the Exodian Sector and keeping them satisfied with minimal wages. Now, with the resources dried up, the Zrot facilities are all-but abandoned. There even reports of elicit salvagers disassembling components from the castle station, knowing that the SCO has far more pressing concerns.
