Num-class Rocket

The Num rocket is one of the earliest spacecraft. While its exact shape, function, and components varied widely with its crew's purpose, it stands as the most iconic and nostalgic relic of early space travel.

The Num's design is an amalgamation of technologies borrowed from most races and nations of Blimnor, although ultimately conforming to orc aesthetic. Various modules could be added or removed depending on the purpose of the craft. These included expanded fuel, docking, landing craft, laboratories, and habitats.

The Num was propelled primarily by solar sails as well as a single engine. The ship's orientation could be changed using gyro control systems in the solar sail modules. Lateral movement was handled by primitive maneuvering thrusters. Following the foundation of the Schematic for Cosmic Order and the invention of the Zipp Drive, the Num became equipped for interstellar travel as well. While Num was capable of landing on planet's surface, it lacked the engine impulse to reach orbit, and thus was generally treated as a disposable vessel.

Gurg'm Noujesh tribes constructed their own versions, decorated with tribal livery and packed with supplies and necessary modules for long voyages before embarking on their conquest of the Graad Ak Sektor.

While some Num still exist in museums, there are no known craft currently in operation, and the Gor Adukk Ma have a reward for any crew that discovers a derelict Num, as orc historians are still eager to track the journeys of the thousands of Gurg'm Noujesh tribes that were lost into the inhospitable and inky void of space.
